Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care to patients with cardiac and vascular diagnoses
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
Titrate drips including amiodarone, nitro, nicardipine, epinephrine, and cardizem
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and cardiologists
Support the thoracic program, EP, cath lab, and structural heart patients
Float to same-level and lower-acuity units as needed

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of experience with this patient population
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required at submittal to verify distance
No artificial nails in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
Titrating and managing multiple IV drips
Understanding of cardiac and vascular diagnoses
Ability to work in a fast-paced CVU environment
