Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: On-call rotation: Monday-Friday 5:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Saturday-Sunday 6:30 AM - 6:30 AM; day shifts as scheduled with potential flexing due to low census

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans using Siemens Avanto 1.5 equipment, ensuring patient comfort and safety
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to produce accurate diagnostic images
Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols, including MRI safety screening
Float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed (16 minutes apart)
Participate in call rotation, responding within 1 hour when on call

Qualifications

Active Texas state license to practice as an MRI Technologist
ARRT certification in MRI is required
Experience with Siemens Avanto 1.5 preferred
BLS certification from American Heart Association
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Education

Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of MRI safety and contraindications
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Proficiency in operating Siemens Avanto 1.5 scanner
Ability to adapt to changing workloads and float between locations
