Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, includes every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services in a rehab setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients regain independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PTs, SLPs, and nursing staff
Document patient progress accurately using Cerner EMR
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home programs
Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Must have at least 2 years of experience in occupational therapy specialty
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience required
Open to first-time travelers - we welcome new adventurers!
Active California Occupational Therapy license required
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR system
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptable to fast-paced rehab environment
