Roles & Responsibilities

Perform PET/CT scans using advanced imaging technology
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as prescribed
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to provide high-quality diagnostic images
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards

Qualifications

Current California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB required
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in nuclear medicine, PET/CT preferred
BLS certification from American Heart Association
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in PET/CT imaging protocols and equipment operation
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Experience with PACS and EMR systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
