Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, no weekends or holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using state-of-the-art GE Discovery 630 Dual Head and PET scanners
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure patient safety and comfort
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including quality control
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to provide accurate diagnostic images
Educate patients on procedures and answer questions to ease anxiety
Maintain detailed patient records using Epic and McKesson systems

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification required
Valid driver's license (required at submittal to verify distance)
Willingness to be flexible, positive, and learn in a team environment
Radiation badge will be provided by client

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Epic and McKesson EMR/PACS systems
Experience with GE NM/PET equipment preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Knowledge of nuclear medicine safety protocols and radiation protection
