Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology imaging procedures with precision and a patient-first mindset
- Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
- Maintain sterile technique and safety protocols to protect patients and the team
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and techs to coordinate efficient, compassionate care
- Document procedures, findings and patient status accurately in the medical record
- Provide patient education and reassurance before, during and after procedures
Qualifications
- Current ARRT RT(R) or RCIS credential required
- Healthcare Provider BLS required
- AHA ACLS required
- Preferred: One year of experience or training in a Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting
- Comfort with day shift schedule and occasional weekend on-call coverage
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with cardiac anatomy and cath lab/interventional radiology procedures
- Proficient in radiation safety and imaging equipment operation
- Skilled in sterile technique and procedural patient care
- Ability to monitor and interpret patient hemodynamics and basic cardiac rhythms
- Team-oriented approach with strong situational awareness
