Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology imaging procedures with precision and a patient-first mindset
• Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain sterile technique and safety protocols to protect patients and the team
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses and techs to coordinate efficient, compassionate care
• Document procedures, findings and patient status accurately in the medical record
• Provide patient education and reassurance before, during and after procedures

Qualifications

• Current ARRT RT(R) or RCIS credential required
• Healthcare Provider BLS required
• AHA ACLS required
• Preferred: One year of experience or training in a Cath Lab/Angio hospital setting
• Comfort with day shift schedule and occasional weekend on-call coverage
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with cardiac anatomy and cath lab/interventional radiology procedures
• Proficient in radiation safety and imaging equipment operation
• Skilled in sterile technique and procedural patient care
• Ability to monitor and interpret patient hemodynamics and basic cardiac rhythms
• Team-oriented approach with strong situational awareness
