Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the rehabilitation team to deliver outstanding patient-centered care
• Develop and implement clinical programs that improve functional outcomes
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance coaching for PT/OT/PTA/COTA team members
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high standards for documentation and quality
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to create individualized care plans
• Monitor outcomes and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decisions
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development for your team

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist (state licensure required)
• Demonstrated experience supervising or managing a rehab team (leadership experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of rehabilitation practices across PT/OT/PTA/COTA disciplines
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for staff, patients, and families
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and clinical documentation best practices
• Commitment to mentoring clinicians and fostering a positive workplace culture

Education

• Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy (required)
• Advanced degree or additional leadership/management training is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical expertise in physical and/or occupational therapy principles
• Ability to develop programs and measure functional outcomes
• Staff leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation workflows
• Strong organizational skills and facility-level operational awareness
• Data-driven mindset to monitor quality metrics and drive improvements
