Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift, 35 hours/week, No weekend rotation)
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' functional abilities and identify occupational therapy needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans that promote independence and meaningful participation
- Provide skilled therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Document progress and outcomes clearly and timely in the patient record
- Educate patients and families on strategies and adaptive techniques to support recovery
- Measure and report functional outcomes to support continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist or eligible for licensure in California
- Clinical experience in post-acute, rehabilitation, or similar settings preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning with the ability to develop and implement treatment plans
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Education
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in occupational therapy evaluation and standardized assessments
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities, adaptive equipment, and functional task training
- Comfortable with documentation in electronic medical records
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
- Patient- and family-centered education and discharge planning
