Location: Wyncote, PA
Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (plus one weekend day as needed), Day shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions under the supervision of the PT to help patients regain mobility and function
- Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training and mobility programs tailored to each patient
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately and communicate changes to the care team
- Provide compassionate education and support to patients and families about home exercises and safe mobility
- Ensure a safe treatment environment by following infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with clinicians, nursing staff and support personnel to create cohesive care plans
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Pennsylvania or eligible for licensure
- Graduated from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Comfortable working primarily daytime shifts with the ability to work one weekend day as scheduled
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Pass a background check and meet facility credentialing requirements
Education
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and functional mobility training
- Proficient with patient documentation and electronic medical records
- Knowledge of safe transfer and positioning techniques
- Ability to assess patient response to treatment and report changes
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Familiarity with adaptive equipment and durable medical equipment recommendations
