Candidate Pay Rate: $298 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert outpatient chemotherapy and infusion care as the primary Hematology/Oncology physician
- Diagnose, stage and manage treatment plans across all tumor types with attention to precision medicine
- Oversee infusion center operations and ensure safe administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and transfusions
- Manage symptom control and complex supportive care for hematology and oncology patients
- Perform transfusion management and therapeutic phlebotomies when indicated
- Collaborate with ER physicians and hospitalists for admissions and inpatient consults
- Supervise and mentor clinic and infusion staff to maintain high-quality patient flow and safety
- Document care and orders using iKnowmed in clinic and Cerner in infusion settings
Qualifications
- MD or DO with Board Eligible or Board Certified status in Hematology and Oncology (dealbreaker if not)
- Experience overseeing chemotherapy administration, infusion center workflows and transfusion management
- Comfort providing hospital consults and working closely with ER/hospitalist teams
- Familiarity with iKnowmed (clinic) and Cerner (infusion) EMRs
- Ability to supervise multidisciplinary clinic and infusion staff and prioritize patient safety
- Willingness to complete credentialing process (typical timeframe 30-60 days)

- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology

- Chemotherapy and immunotherapy administration and oversight
- Transfusion medicine and therapeutic phlebotomy

- Infusion center operations, workflows and onsite MD oversight
- Strong communication and collaboration with ER/hospitalist teams
- Proficiency with iKnowmed and Cerner EMR systems
