Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient scrub nursing support across a broad range of surgical specialties, including endocrine, breast, oncology, GI, colorectal, and hepatobiliary procedures
• Prepare the OR and surgical instruments, maintain sterile field, and anticipate surgeons' needs during procedures
• Document care accurately in EPIC and ensure all perioperative documentation is complete
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with surgical teams, patients, and families to promote high-quality outcomes
• Adapt quickly and effectively to stressful or changing situations in the perioperative environment
• Follow facility policies and state regulations, including maintaining required NH licensure and BLS certification

Qualifications

• Current RN license for New Hampshire (or Compact) required and must be uploaded with submission
• Minimum 2 years operating room experience with required scrub experience
• Multiple surgical specialty experience preferred (open and laparoscopic procedures)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Own vehicle and provide permanent address on profile (local travelers within 50 miles not eligible)
• All requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission; no more than 5 days accepted

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong operating room scrub skills and sterile technique
• Proficient with EPIC documentation and perioperative workflows
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication
• Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing case schedules
• Familiarity with multiple surgical specialties and instrumentation
