Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Support patient mobility, bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting with dignity
- Monitor patients’ conditions and promptly report changes to the nursing team
- Assist with specimen collection and routine measurements like vital signs
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
- Document care accurately in the patient chart and communicate with the team
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- Active state nursing aide registry in New Mexico preferred or required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working overnight shifts and handling fast-paced patient needs
- Dependable, compassionate, and great at teaming with nurses and families
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar settings is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills and understanding of ADLs
- Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical staff
- Familiarity with infection control practices and safety procedures
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Ability to follow care plans, protocols, and supervisor directions
- Time management and situational awareness during busy night shifts
