Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Support safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility with dignity
- Monitor and record basic patient observations such as vital signs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and changes in condition
- Assist the care team by communicating patient needs and concerns promptly
- Promote a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment
- Treat every resident and patient with respect, empathy, and privacy
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Valid state nurse aide listing or eligibility to transfer/obtain New Mexico listing
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility health requirements
- Comfortable working night shifts and adaptable to per diem scheduling
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven knowledge of basic nursing care and patient hygiene
- Familiarity with infection control and safe handling procedures
- Skilled in observation, reporting changes, and accurate charting
- Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
