Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, promoting dignity and independence
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
- Follow care plans and document interventions accurately to support continuity of care
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents at all times
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (Class: CNA) — required
- Eligible to work locally in Albuquerque (Notes: LOCAL ONLY)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) on Thu, Fri, Sat
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident-centered care
Education
- CNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic nursing care and personal care techniques
- Vital signs measurement and comfortable resident handling
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Clear verbal and written communication for documentation and handoffs
- Teamwork and the ability to follow care plans and supervisor direction
