Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC, Night shift

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
- Accurately document care, observations, and vital signs in the patient record
- Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver consistent care
- Support patient dignity and independence while following facility policies
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Valid CNA credentials per state requirements (New Mexico) or ability to obtain prior to start
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or able to obtain
- Comfort working overnight hours and adapting to per diem schedules
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first attitude
- Ability to pass required background checks, immunization requirements, and drug screening
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
- Basic vital signs assessment and documentation
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
- Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during shifts
- Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
