Contract Type: Perm
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift, no weekend rotation)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, patient-centered physical therapy evaluations and treatments to improve function and quality of life
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment and patient goals
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and the rehabilitation team to coordinate comprehensive care
- Educate patients and families on exercises, home programs, and safe mobility strategies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain best-practice standards
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in West Virginia or eligible for state licensure
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Strong clinical assessment, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercise skills
- Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities
- Prior experience in outpatient, inpatient rehab, or post-acute care is a plus
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master's in Physical Therapy preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurologic rehabilitation principles
- Proficiency in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and balance programs
- Ability to create measurable, functional treatment goals and care plans
- Familiarity with electronic medical record documentation
- Strong patient education and motivational coaching skills
