Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day); 40 hours/week with rotating weekend coverage

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans to help patients reach meaningful daily goals
- Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions under the direction of supervising occupational therapists
- Document patient progress clearly and timely to support care continuity and outcomes
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care
- Educate patients and families on strategies, adaptive equipment, and home safety to promote independence
- Assist with setup and training for adaptive equipment and therapeutic activities
- Maintain a safe, compassionate environment that supports recovery and dignity
Qualifications
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) credential required
- Comfort working a daytime schedule with periodic weekend rotation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage patients and the care team
- Ability to follow treatment plans, document accurately, and prioritize patient safety
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to patient-centered care
Knowledge & Skills
- Foundational knowledge of occupational therapy principles and therapeutic activities
- Competence with patient transfers, adaptive equipment, and mobility support
- Clear and timely clinical documentation skills
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills within an interdisciplinary setting
- Time management and organizational skills to manage a full caseload effectively
