Shift Type: Days vary per facility schedule; Day shift 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM; 36 hrs/week; must float to North Country and South Country Outpatient Units and Inpatient Acute Unit as needed (schedule set by facility)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based renal nursing care across outpatient and inpatient acute settings
- Float between North Country and South Country outpatient units and the inpatient acute unit to meet patient needs
- Assess patients, monitor clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient care and interventions accurately and timely in the chart
- Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols
- Participate in an 8-hour orientation and integrate quickly into unit workflows
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license required and must be uploaded with profile at submission
- Minimum 3 years of recent renal nursing experience (required)
- Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) certification required
- Current work history and Renal RN skills checklist (current to 1 year) required
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
- Traveler must have own vehicle for this assignment
- Traveler must provide permanent address at profile upload; facility will not consider candidates who reside within 50 miles of the facility
- All requested time off must be declared at submission; no more than 5 days RTO will be accepted
Education
- Active Massachusetts RN license required (degree not specified in posting)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong renal nursing knowledge including management of renal patients and related care needs
- Acute care skills and ability to work in fast-paced inpatient settings
- Experience working in outpatient settings and float pool environments
- Excellent patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Clear documentation and charting skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Adaptability to changing assignments and unit workflows
