Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 06:45 AM - 07:15 PM; 3x12 (three shifts per week), weekends required (6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule). Day shift, rotating (includes weekend coverage).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry continuously to detect changes early
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, and activate rapid response/code teams when needed
• Provide specialized neuro and neurosurgical nursing care for stroke, TIA and post-op patients
• Administer IV therapy, perform phlebotomy and manage peripheral lines safely
• Use EPIC to document patient care accurately and communicate with the care team
• Deliver respiratory support including oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT/OT/RT/Pharmacy/Social Work) to optimize patient outcomes
• Mentor and support new staff with empathy and clinical expertise

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice (ability to obtain TN or compact licensure as required)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (telemetry/medical-surgical or neuro preferred)
• Telemetry experience with cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health record (charting system required)
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy and peripheral line care
• BLS certification required or preferred per facility guidance
• Comfort floating between units and working 12-hour day shifts, including weekends
