Location: West Valley, Utah

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, at least every third weekend and holidays required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to adults in a 26-bed behavioral health unit
Build meaningful connections with geriatric patients while managing common diagnoses like dementia and bipolar disorder
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and well-being
Monitor patient safety and respond to changing needs with professionalism and empathy
Float to med-surg or OB units when needed, expanding your clinical skill set

Qualifications

Active RN license in Utah or compact state
BLS certification required
Behavioral health or psych experience preferred
Willingness to float outside of psych unit highly valued
Solid color scrubs only, no prints

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and communication skills
Ability to work with geriatric and behavioral health populations
Flexibility to float to other units when census requires
Commitment to patient safety and trauma-informed care
