Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week; on-call rotation with 2-3 calls per 6-week schedule; call response within 20-30 minutes

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures
Assist in surgical suites for neuro, spine, ortho, vascular, thoracic, general, trauma, gyn, urology, ENT, robotics, and plastics cases
Scrub in for surgeries and coordinate with the surgical team
Utilize Epic EMR to document patient care and manage surgical schedules
Respond to trauma calls within 20 minutes and non-trauma within 30 minutes
Float to Walters unit as needed and support team flexibility

Qualifications

2+ years of recent OR nursing experience required
Active RN license in Washington (or compact license)
BLS certification required
Trauma experience required
Experience with DaVinci robotics required
Ability to scrub for surgical cases
Epic experience required
COVID-19 vaccination required

Knowledge & Skills

Deep understanding of sterile techniques and surgical instruments
Proficient in robotic-assisted surgery workflows
Strong communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple critical situations
Adaptable to rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities
