Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM, with on-call requirements

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced OR department
Assist surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and maintain a sterile field
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Utilize EPIC for accurate documentation and charting
Adapt to changing case loads and extended hours as needed

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required
Current and valid RN license in Illinois (Nursys verified)
BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must pass Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam, Rhythm Interpretation Screening, and Specialty Exam

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle high-stress situations with calm professionalism
