Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver safe, quality patient care using the nursing process
Monitor and interpret hemodynamic status, adjusting treatments as needed
Collaborate with physicians to communicate changes in patient condition
Provide direct patient care in the ICU and telemetry units
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN license in Illinois
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum one year of experience as a staff RN in acute care, critical care
CCRN certification preferred
NIHSS certification required
Ability to float between ICU and telemetry units

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in critical care nursing and telemetry monitoring
Proficient in ACLS, BLS, strip interpretation, and drip titration
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition
