Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), schedule varies; must be flexible to work weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population in Med-Surg and Telemetry units
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 1, adapting quickly to different unit environments
Monitor and manage patients on telemetry, including heparin drip titration
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in charge nurse duties as needed, especially on night shifts
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all facility protocols

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with floating and adapting to different units preferred
Neuro experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment skills
Ability to titrate heparin drips
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring
Excellent communication and teamwork
Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Knowledge of various patient populations: cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, etc.
