Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), including every other weekend (nights: Fridays and Saturdays)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for adult patients with medical, surgical, cardiac, and stroke conditions
Titrate critical drips including Heparin, insulin, and octreotide
Interpret telemetry and respond to changes in patient status
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to ensure safe patient ratios
Manage a high-flow unit with frequent admissions, transfers, and discharges

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or step-down experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret telemetry

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating and managing IV drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfortable floating to Med/Surg, ICU, or ED as needed
