Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM (with potential floating to St. Francis, St. Clare, and St. Anthony)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and follow-up assessments with independence and expertise
Perform comprehensive communication evaluations and develop effective treatment plans
Administer standardized tests in the outpatient setting to guide patient care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across acute inpatient and outpatient departments at a Level 2 Trauma Center
Manage a caseload of 7-8 patients per day, including post-concussion, CVA, TBI, and head & neck cancer cases

Qualifications

Active Washington state SLP license required
CCC-SLP credential required - we cannot accept CCC-A
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
COVID-19 vaccination required
Experience with bedside swallow evaluations and outpatient standardized test administration
Ability to float to St. Francis, St. Clare, and St. Anthony campuses as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in speech-language pathology evaluation and treatment across the lifespan
Skilled in bedside swallow assessments and communication evaluations
Experienced with outpatient standardized test administration
Comfortable working in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings
Strong teamwork and adaptability for floating between facilities
