Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Critical Access Hospital)

Location: Kremmling, Colorado

Start Date: 06-29-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week, plus 2 call shifts every 6 weeks; holidays and on-call required.

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge in the Emergency Department
Utilize accepted standards and protocols including ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ATLS
Achieve optimal patient outcomes through implementation of clinical pathways
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in a critical access hospital setting
Provide trauma care in a Level IV Trauma Center

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Active Colorado RN license (must be currently active)
ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Critical Access Hospital experience preferred
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency Room Nursing in a Trauma Level IV setting
Proficiency with Point Click EMR
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently in a critical access environment
