Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (days/nights), every other weekend, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to PCU, Oncology, and Med Surg patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor critical drips like heparin and cardizem
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, social work, and dieticians
Float to other PCU and Med Surg units as needed, ensuring continuity of care
Champion patient safety, hourly rounding, and a positive patient experience

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/Med Surg/Oncology experience (first-time travelers welcome)
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification required; Chemotherapy certification preferred
EPIC experience within 6 months preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in chemotherapy administration and management
Experience with hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan-Ganz)
Ventilator management and titration of common drips
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment
