Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), schedule varies, includes weekend and holiday rotations

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse adult-geriatric population across multiple units including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Monitor telemetry and manage cardiac drips such as heparin
Float within Zone 3 to various facilities, ensuring high-quality care wherever needed
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient acuities

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must live outside a 60-mile radius from all facilities in Zone 3 (unless local contract)
Neuro experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
Proficiency in managing cardiac drips (e.g., heparin)
Ability to float and adapt to various units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility with scheduling and floating requirements
