Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with weekend and holiday rotation; schedule released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide progressive care nursing in a dynamic float pool environment across multiple PCU/IMC units
Monitor and manage cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin titrations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
Float within Zone 1 covering multiple facilities in the Colorado Springs area
Adapt to various patient populations including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and post-surgical

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience required
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with cardiac drips, insulin, and ativan
Prior neuro and Epic experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Progressive care unit (PCU) and intermediate care (IMC) nursing skills
Cardiac monitoring and drip titration
Comfortable floating across multiple units and facilities
Flexibility and adaptability in assignment scheduling
