Location: Waterloo, Iowa

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every third weekend, every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to acutely ill patients in the ICU
Monitor and assess patient conditions, rapidly responding to changes
Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced procedures
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
At least one year of recent ICU experience preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, and hemodynamic support
Proficient in electronic health records
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving and prioritization abilities
