Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to telemetry and med-surg patients across multiple units
Titrate cardiac drips including Amiodarone, Cardene, Nitroglycerin, Heparin, and Dobutamine
Interpret and respond to cardiac rhythms via centralized telemetry monitoring
Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to manage patient assignments and floating needs
Float between Chandler and Mercy Gilbert campuses as needed, with ample notice and support
Participate in Sim Lab orientation and pass dysrhythmia exam to ensure clinical excellence

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must be able to titrate cardiac drips and interpret EKGs
Dysrhythmia exam must be passed within 48 hours of offer
Sim Lab orientation on day one - come ready to shine!
NIHSS preferred for neuro float opportunities

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Strong skills in titration of cardiac medications
Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
Floating between campuses requires flexibility and time management
