Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate behavioral health nursing care to patients
Assess mental health status and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and monitor for side effects
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery
Support patients and families through crisis intervention and education
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Current RN license in Iowa (compact license accepted)
BLS and NIHSS certifications required
Experience in behavioral health preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotation considered

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Patient education and advocacy
