Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients in the intermediate care unit, ensuring timely interventions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, with precision and care
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery goals
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient progress
Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency protocols when needed

Qualifications

Current RN license in Massachusetts
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Previous IMC or step-down experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
Expertise in telemetry monitoring and cardiac care
