Shift Type: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with acute conditions to improve their functional independence
Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Document patient progress using Cerner EMR
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and discharge planning
Modify treatment approaches based on patient response and recovery goals

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapy license
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred
Two supervisory references required at submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care occupational therapy techniques
Cerner electronic medical record proficiency
Discharge planning and patient education
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Effective communication and teamwork
