Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 1830-0700, 36 hours per week (schedule varies)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced ED environment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families
Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and stabilize patients as needed

Qualifications

Active Washington State RN license or Multi-state (compact) license required
Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training and Nursys verification
Team player with a positive attitude and strong clinical skills

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and procedures
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Meditech EMR is helpful but not required
