Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) - Per Diem
Location: Brooklyn Park, MD
Start Date: 06-16-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Monday-Friday, with potential weekend shifts)
Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
- Monitor and report vital signs and changes in condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents
- Support residents with meals and hydration as needed
- Build meaningful relationships and promote dignity and independence
Qualifications
- Current Maryland GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- CPR certification (BLS) preferred
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing a plus
- Must be compassionate, reliable, and a team player
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent observation skills
