Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients across multiple facilities in Zone 1.
Float between five facilities in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas as needed.
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, titrate heparin drips as ordered.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient populations including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical/telemetry experience.
Current, unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Experience with heparin titration.
Neuro experience preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Ability to float and adapt to diverse patient populations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation.
Comfortable with rapid changes in assignment via Just-In-Time model.
