Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 5x8 hours, with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, and other areas
Analyze patient samples and ensure accurate results
Maintain quality control and comply with regulatory standards
Collaborate with healthcare team to provide timely diagnoses
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Assist in training new staff

Qualifications

Valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License
ASCP certification or HEW required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical lab setting
Hematology expertise highly desired

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of hematology procedures
Proficiency in laboratory information systems
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
