Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, Every third weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care on a med/surg/tele unit
Monitor telemetry and respond to patient changes with confidence
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

Active RN license in Iowa or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent med/surg/tele experience
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotate weekends/holidays

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Skilled in patient assessment and care planning
Knowledgeable in wound care, IV therapy, and medication management
Comfortable with EPIC or similar EMR systems
Team player with a positive attitude and adaptability
