Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients in ICU, NICU, and acute care settings
Administer medications and manage advanced ventilators including Hamilton C-1, Avea
Perform and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and equipment

Qualifications

Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
Minimum of 2 years hospital experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications (NRP can be obtained on site)
Experience with ABGs and ventilator management
NICU experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management (Hamilton C-1, Avea)
ABG interpretation and blood gas analysis
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Knowledge of Meditec documentation system
Team collaboration and communication skills
