Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on the Respiratory unit, including COVID-positive patients
Float to various Med-Surg units such as Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation as needed
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips accurately
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document care in Epic EMR system with proficiency

Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license is required
Minimum 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience
Current BLS certification
Epic EMR proficiency is mandatory (no exceptions)
Ability to read and interpret telemetry rhythms

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Epic EMR
Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
