Location: Rutland, Vermont
Start Date: 07-27-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic activities to improve fine motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment
- Document progress accurately and adjust interventions as needed
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Vermont or compact eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting
- Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) also encouraged to apply
- BLS certification from AHA required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of OT assessment tools and treatment modalities
- Ability to adapt activities for diverse patient needs
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
