Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8hr shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop patient daily lists and review charts
Assess patient needs and open goals of care discussions
Provide education on disease process and advance directives
Hold family meetings and provide end-of-life support
Attend daily rounds and collaborate with the healthcare team

Qualifications

BSN required
2-5 years of recent experience in palliative and/or hospice setting
ICU and/or oncology experience a plus
BLS certification required, ELNEC preferred

Education

BSN degree

Knowledge & Skills

Palliative care experience
Acute care skills
Strong clinical thinking and communication skills
Flexibility and organizational skills
Desire to serve others
