Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment
Collaborate with the rehab team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Maine (or compact eligibility)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA preferred
Ability to build rapport with patients and work in a team

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt treatment plans to patient needs
Proficient in documentation and electronic medical records
