Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to oncology and telemetry patients on a 32-bed acute care unit
Perform central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertions while maintaining strict sterile field
Interpret EKG rhythms and monitor telemetry for cardiac patients
Collaborate with a dedicated team including charge nurses, PCTs, and SWAT RNs
Float to other MedSurg/Tele units as needed to support patient care
Participate in orientation and pass required skills labs including SIMs Lab

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemo certified strongly preferred
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in oncology or telemetry nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Competent in EKG interpretation
Experience with Cerner EMR system
Understanding of sterile field technique
