Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional respiratory care to patients across various units
- Manage and monitor ventilators and other respiratory equipment
- Assess patient respiratory status and develop treatment plans
- Administer respiratory medications and therapies as ordered
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments
Qualifications
- Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist in Utah
- Current RRT or CRT credential from the NBRC
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in ventilator management and respiratory therapies
- Knowledge of pulmonary rehabilitation and airway management
- Skilled in patient assessment and critical thinking
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
