Location: Bryan, Texas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with weekend rotation (2 full weekends per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide skilled physical therapy interventions for acute care patients across various units including ortho, neuro, oncology, and critical care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Supervise and guide PTAs and rehab techs as needed
Document patient progress and maintain accurate EMR records using Meditech
Participate in weekend coverage rotation (2 full weekends per month)

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist license in Texas
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to changing patient caseloads
Comfortable with using Meditech EMR system

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge of acute care rehabilitation protocols and safety standards
Time management and organizational skills to handle high patient volumes
Ability to precept and mentor new staff when needed
