Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients from neonatal to geriatric in all areas of the facility, including NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, and cardiac units
Manage ventilators (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1), non-invasive ventilation (V-60), and high-flow oxygen therapy (Airvo)
Work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans
Respond to rapid response and code situations with confidence and expertise
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care

Qualifications

Active North Dakota state license as a Respiratory Therapist
RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) credential required
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Must have NICU experience
Ability to work independently and make clinical judgments in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and MR1 ventilators
Experience with V-60 Respironics and Airvo high-flow systems
Strong understanding of neonatal, pediatric, and adult respiratory care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to varying patient acuity levels across multiple units
