Location: Caldwell, Texas

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, no weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services to a mix of inpatient and outpatient patients, including those with orthopedic, neurological, wound care, and general deconditioning needs.
Collaborate with a supportive therapy team and nursing staff to deliver high-quality care in a critical access hospital setting.
Precept new employees or students as needed by the unit.
Cover both IP and OP areas, treating conditions like fractures, sports injuries, and neuro cases (excluding acutely ill patients).
Maintain compliance with BLS and licensure requirements while documenting patient progress.

Qualifications

Current Texas Physical Therapist License
National Physical Therapist License
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Wound care experience preferred but not required
Must not have been directly employed by any CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facility in the past year

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in treating a diverse patient population including ortho, neuro, and wound care
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Strong communication and documentation skills
Adaptability to handle both inpatient acute/obs/skilled and outpatient cases
